I don't always get to meet the lovely young ladies who buy my dresses, particularly the one-of-a-kinds that I make for the shop when I have a few spare hours. So I was thrilled to see these photos that Jena posted on her blog--she fell in love with my little linen and lace frock, and I think it fell in love with her, too!
The linen bodice and underlay are paired with embellished tulle with lots of lace appliqués. The bodice and waist are also trimmed with smoke-colored velvet ribbon.
Doesn't she look amazing? I feel like this dress was made for her. And maybe, in some sort of cosmic way, it was. Thanks, Jena! I'm so glad that you and this dress found each other.

When a wedding is just plain packed with laughter and love, it shows.
It really shows.
Best wishes, Dana and Scott. May the sun always shine on you.

Persuasion in Oz.
I just received this lovely photo from Megan, who wore my Persuasion dress and ruffle bolero for her wedding in Australia this March. I traveled for the first time to Australia earlier this spring and loved it, so I'm thrilled whenever one of my dresses takes a voyage there...

Beatrix in Vacationland.
I sent little Beatrix up to Maine for a photo shoot with the very talented Corbin Gurkin. This little stunner is a preview shot--can't wait to see more!

Let's do this.
Laurel will be wearing her mother's wedding dress.
It used to have long sleeves, an uninspiring little sash, and quite a high neckline.
High in the back as well as the front.
Much better. Someone put a glass of champagne in this young lady's hand--because she is ready to go!

I love these people.
Sandy's splashy, multicultural and totally stylish wedding is featured on Once Wed. Oysters & Pearls had quite the time (although she felt a little competitive with Sandy's Cambodian wedding outfit--hot stuff)! See many more incredible photos here.
